About Blue Sky
Connecting Utah’s Mandarin speakers through career opportunities, cultural exchange, and community.
Blue Sky Student Association is a student-run, nonprofit organization bringing together college students across Utah who share an interest in Mandarin Chinese and Chinese culture. We help students turn their language skills into real-world experiences, meaningful connections, and opportunities beyond the classroom.
What We Do
Our Mission
To build bridges of cultural understanding by providing students with meaningful professional opportunities and immersive travel experiences using their Mandarin skills to engage with the world firsthand.
Professional Opportunities
We help students use Mandarin in professional settings by connecting them with internships, networking, career development, and opportunities to apply their language skills in the real world.
Cultural Exchange in China
We create opportunities for students to experience China firsthand, deepen their understanding of Chinese culture, and build meaningful connections through travel and cultural exchange.
Community & Connection
We bring Mandarin speaking college students together from across Utah through events and collaboration. Students can practice their language skills, make friends, and grow together.
